Melinda Edmunds - Prevention Project Coordinator

Melinda is an experienced health promotion professional, having previously worked in falls prevention in the elderly, and planning, implementing and evaluating professional development initiatives for health professionals in the injury prevention sector. She has a passion for well developed behaviour change programs. Melinda believes providing information, interactive tools, opportunities to develop skills and ongoing support are key elements to equipping workplaces and individuals to improve their health.

Melissa Robinson - Consultant, Nutritionist, HealthSmart Solutions

Melissa has over six years of nutrition experience in the public and corporate sectors. Melissa is particularly passionate about working with workplaces to help educate Western Australians about the benefits of eating well and engaging in healthy habits.

Emma Adams - Research and Evaluation Officer

Emma has experience in researching and evaluating health promotion programs. She enjoys using biostatistics to explain the impact of a program on population health outcomes.

Liz Lyons - Marketing and Online Engagement Officer

Liz has a background in marketing, having previously worked in an agency. Liz is committed to ensuring that all of our website information and associated materials are clear and easy to read.

Diabetes Management Unit

All dietary and nutrition information within the program has been approved by the Diabetes Management Unit. The Diabetes Management Unit at Diabetes WA includes Diabetes Educators, Dietitians and Nurses.  They are skilled in guiding people on their journey of living with diabetes and provide quality programs and services which have been proven to make a difference.  Call 9436 6202 or contact bookings@diabeteswa.com.au to book into a program or to find out more.  On Diabetes WA’s website, you will find online resources covering a range of diabetes topics to provide further information and advice.
